Not everything has to be private

I had to force myself to do some work. Anyway I have expanded the private comments a bit. Now you can choose what text you want to be private with new regexp I have implemented. Look at my help page if you want to know how to use it. The helped page can be accessed by clicking BBcode in the comment form.

I would like to note that I will be working on a discussion forum. I say this every year and never do it. This year I am going to do it. I have already started on it and I have the basic database structure created. I still need to think of a witty name. The forum will be used for discussion on any topics you may desire (within legality).

Also please make comments about the topic it is posted under. If it is irrelevant to the topic I'll just delete it not question asked.

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for visiting.

Cpatcha my soul

The first official update of the year.

Well February is here and as promised I would work on Core 6. You won't notice things right off but I have done some work. I fixed quite a few XSS vulnerabilities. I would like to thank Hell Bound Hackers for providing me knowledge of such.

I also did a little work providing accessibility. I would provide proof of such but the web site I was using stopped the web project The day after I had manage to pass all three priorities. So, this means that you can enjoy my site to the fullest whether you are blind, color blind, or deaf.

The last update which is pretty major - comparatively - Is that I manage to pull together a CAPTCHA engine to use. Every Now and then I would get a droid causing spam in all sorts of topics. That is a thing of the past. It's fairly basic but it's enough to get the job done. I could make it a little more complex but I feel that it is not needed at the moment. I may consider if droids pass but I doubt that will happen.

I've decided to keep my domain so you won't have to worry about a name change or anything. As far as the rest of the Core 6 project I believe I am going to focus on security issues and usability.

Remember that the Primaries are coming so pick someone decent *Huckabee*.

Core 6

I'm not talking about the beloved Linux system Fedora (they don't do the core thing anymore, and its latest version is 8). I'm talking about this site. It's that time of year where I rewrite the source.

This year; however, will be a little different than last. Instead of a complete rewrite, I'm just going to change what I think sucks and possibly add some stuff. Remember, one of the virtues of a programmer is laziness so there is no point in rewriting what is already written. I'm not sure what I may add. All I know for now is that I'm going to be "fixen' up the place". I don't plan on making any style or mark up changes (major changes that is).

So, what does this have to do with you? Well, I'm always looking for suggestions. I'm also looking for developers. I'll, for a limited time, give out my source to any trusted developer willing to help. I know I'm not the greatest developer and I'm also very sloppy. Having another developer look over the source would really cut back on the muck and bugs. Helping as a developer will be rewarding.

When will I start this project? I will more than likely start in February when my domain expires. That way if I decide to change the name of this place it won't cost me a fortune.

Suggestions? If I need to add something or something just needs to be changed tell me. Think you have a better name for this place then tell me. I'm open to all reasonable suggestions.

Side note: If a developer is interested, I would like to partner up to start a WoW guide site that could possibly generate some profit. Just leave a private comment with your email, aim, or msn if you are interested.

My life and the interest of others.

It seems that some people who don't have a life likes to worry about mine. Just the other day I got a comment on a post that is about a year old. The comment was something along the lines of "Stop calling her, she doesn't like you, and move on 'buddy'." I know who the person is (I have a strong inclination). I know she doesn't have much of a life so she spends it dictating mine.

I'm not your buddy. You will not get a life by associating your self with someone as great as me.

Now that I have established that I can give you insight on how to get a life(won't be much but you need all the help you can get). First you need to worry about your self. Don't dictate others lives, dictate you own. Second is that you should get a decent job(If you tell me pay by the hour of a job you have I'll laugh). Third is get a boyfriend(or girlfriend if you swing that way). The last one may be hard for you to do. Don't be rude to people! In a business environment you will get fired for that. The key to success is hiding your true personality to suit other people. If you puff up that face of yours and say something ignorant then you will fail.

If you don't have a life then get a life. Just let it be your own life.

This piece of rhetorical content was all typed on a Nintendo DS.

Stupid people arguing.

There are some people that you just can’t argue with let alone get a coherent sentence out of them. The ones that make the vein in your head budge. The ones that make you play over in your mind “They are retarded they don’t know any better”. Yes the idiots that get mad over something and attempt to debate about it but instead flail about like a moth around light.

Here’s how they usually attempt to make a claim.

First they pick a topic but not just any topic. The topic is usually something pointless or really opinionated. Topics that you could really care less about what it really is but you know you’re right; however, they don’t think you’re and will argue EVEN IF THEY ARE WRONG!!! Michael Vick had enough sense to admit he was wrong (can’t say they same for his brother). I’ll give an example of what I’m talking about. There was a guy who decided to argue that the guy in the background of a picture on a shirt was Captain America when it obviously wasn’t.

Then they back their opinion up with facts… out of their rear. Their sources seem to always start with “I heard”. I don’t care what you “heard” I want physical proof. Back to Captain American the guy said “If you look at one of the special editions he wears that costume.” We ask him which one it is. Should be simple to answer right? Well his follow ups were a few ad hominem attacks like “Your stupid”, “Only idiots wouldn't believe me”, and my favorite “You don’t know what you’re talking about”. As you can tell it was getting rather nasty.

Last is where they make their claim. Not pretty! This is where they start changing shape and color and proves how much of a rear end they really are. This is the point where I’m laughing at their anger of such a stupid topic. This is different for each person. I’ve had people want to fight me (They really got their point across).

My advice is to avoid these people at all times. If you happen to get trapped in a battle of dimwits I suggest making the person really mad and get off on their reaction.
